The Pliosaurus was truly one of the most terrifying creature to swim the earth's oceans. Dwarfing modern sharks pliosauruses grew to be 50 feet long. The teeth alone were a foot long each and it's massive jaws were thought to be several times stronger than that of Tyrannosaurus Rex. A true sea monster The massive Pliosaurus was the apex predator of the late Jurassic ocean.
