The Gate

The Gate plays like a classic board game where players move around a board, drawing cards and collecting tokens. However, The Gate uses this accessible format to introduce elements usually found in more complex fantasy role-playing games.

Players must fight monsters to progress to the inner circles of the board and ultimately reach the gate in the middle to win. New players can dive right into the game with only a basic understanding of the rules and more advanced rules will be introduced as they become relevant, allowing the game to have a lot of complexity that the players don't have to burden themselves with.

Cards and dice for advanced rules are also included to expand the game even more (without having to buy costly expansions). The game features 8 custom metal playing pieces, 10 custom dice, 82 glass beads, 333 cards and a high quality game board, all carefully labeled for easy setup.
