Puzzle
A lobster's musical talent on display Only 2 left in stock! In the old days, (around 1914), lobsters were known to show off their prowess with stringed instruments (here the banjo) to serenade beachgoers. It must have been a hot day, because this lobster is red (the cooked color), not the natural green. As you might guess and as this young women's expression indicates, it was quite a thrill to be chosen to be serenaded to. This cheerful beach painting was painted by Brynolf Wennerberg in 1914 as a cover for Puck magazine. Bring this painting home in puzzle form with 750 pieces. Finished puzzle is 18X24 inches. |
