Lobster Serenade Puzzle
Type
Puzzle
A lobster's musical talent on display This product is no longer in stock In the old days, (around 1914), lobsters were known to show off their prowess with stringed instruments (here the banjo) to serenade beachgoers. It must have been a hot day, because this lobster is red (the cooked color), not the natural green. As you might guess and as this young women's expression indicates, it was quite a thrill to be chosen to be serenaded to. This cheerful beach painting was painted by Brynolf Wennerberg in 1914 as a cover for Puck magazine. Bring this painting home in puzzle form with 750 pieces. Finished puzzle is 18X24 inches. |
