Nellie Bly was the pseudonym for journalist, journalist Elizabeth Cochrane. She had gone under cover in the New York asylums but is most remembered for being the first person to travel around the world in less than 80 days, 73 to be exact. In 1889, she traveled by ship, train, rickshaw, sampan, horse, camel, and burro publishing stories of her travels in "The New York World." This game was published in 1890. Now you can remember her exploits by first doing the puzzle of this historic game then playing the game with the included pieces. A booklet about the game and Nellie Bly is included. A great way to learn some history and have fun too! Finished puzzle is 24 X 18 inches. 300 pieces. More delightful things... |
